Before we drill, survey, or explore, we build trust with the people who know the land best. Over the past few weeks, our teams have been on the ground, meeting with landowners, local leaders, and community groups across our project areas. These aren’t just check-ins—they’re real conversations about how we work, why we’re here, and how we can grow together.
Whether it’s updating land access records, repairing pathways after the rainy season, or simply answering questions, every small action makes a difference. As we prepare for the next phase of exploration, we’re proud of the partnerships we’re building—and grateful for the insight and support we’ve received along the way.
Here’s to transparency, shared understanding, and moving forward—together.

Before the end of 2023, the Annamite Resources family had the incredible privilege of spreading joy and warmth during our Gift Giving Day at the Namthom School near our concession area.
As a company deeply rooted in community values, we believe in giving back and nurturing the potential of young minds. Our team was overjoyed to share smiles, laughter, and thoughtful gifts with the amazing students in our community. At Annamite Resources, we understand that sustainable development extends beyond our operations, and it begins with investing in the education and well-being of the local youth.
A massive thanks to our dedicated team members who organized this event and contributed to its success! Your passion for community engagement truly makes a difference. Let’s continue to create positive ripples in the communities we serve. Together, we can build a brighter future!

September 2023
We have embarked on an essential infrastructure project to restore a deteriorating causeway west of Namthom Village within their Sokdee Project exploration area. This vital project not only addresses the pressing issue of erosion preventing access during monsoon but also prioritizes the safety of villagers and the exploration team. Despite the challenges posed by the wet season, Annamite’s commitment to this initiative remains unwavering.
March 2023
On March 30th, 2023, Annamite Resources held their team building activity together with the students of Ban Naxam school near our base camp in the Hinherb District, Vientiane Province of Laos. With the presence of our CEO Didier Fohlen, Annamite Resources donated around 8.7M Kip (US$500) worth of sportswear and sports equipment to the school’s varsity team, to continuously help the children’s endeavours. The Naxam School is where pupils from the villages of Namthom, Souanmone, Mouk and Navay go for elementary and secondary curricula. All these villages are on the periphery of the LHBS Sokdee exploration concession.
As part of our contribution to community development, we are starting in parallel next week a solid waste management project to improve health, safety and environmental conditions, offering sustainable solutions, including recycling and composting to the population of the villages mentioned above.
The award was received by Mr. Manopat Sripo, Annamite Resources Senior Geologist and Ms. Chan Mouanmany, Annamite Resources Senior Manager, Partner and Investor Relations.
At Annamite, we go beyond compliance, actively supporting and engaging the communities where we operate.
Transparent collaboration with local communities for land access, fair compensation, and environmental protection.
Repaired Namthom Causeway, improved roads, implemented waste management programs, and used locally sourced bamboo mats to prevent erosion at drill sites.
Taught English in four schools to empower the next generation.
Funded small projects, repaired infrastructure, and sourced local products to support livelihoods.
Together, we are shaping a more sustainable future for Laos.
