A Deep Dive into Copper Exploration: Updates from the Sokdee Project's Drilling

The Sokdee Project, operated by Annamite's subsidiary, Lao Hyundae Black Stone (LHBS), is an exploration asset uncovering valuable mineral resources in the Vientiane Province of Laos. This project has garnered significant attention due to its potential for copper and gold mineralization.

𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆

LHBS, in cooperation with Rio Tinto Exploration (RTX), has been actively engaged in drilling the Mouk target. This drilling will allow geologists and geophysicists to gain insights into the porphyry deposit makeup.


𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀

As of the latest update, two inclined core holes, MK23-019DD and MK23-020DD, have been successfully completed, totalling 661 meters. Additionally, a third hole, MK23-021DD, is currently in progress and has reached a depth of 190 meters. These core holes are vital for obtaining samples from different depths of the Earth's crust to analyze the presence of valuable minerals.


𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘀𝗶𝘀

The core samples obtained from the drilling process are currently being prepared for commercial analysis. This analysis will provide information about the mineral composition, grade, and economic viability of the target.
