Didier Fohlen, CEO of Annamite Resources
Following the Prime Minister order for the reinstatement in November 2021 of the LHBS Business, Exploration and Feasibility Licenses, with Annamite Resources now owning 70% of LHBS, we are pleased to announce that formal approval to start exploration activities on the 50 square kilometers exploration and feasibility Sokdee tenements has been received from the Department of Geology and Mines (DGM) on 25 February 2022.
The in-country team is ready to embark on a two-month work program on the Star porphyry prospect, consisting of in-fill soil geochemical sampling, geological mapping and 1,000m core drilling. Within the constraints of the Covid pandemic we have been able to secure the financing of this initial testing program. In parallel with maximizing in-ground spending at Star prospects and its immediate environs, Annamite will engage with local communities around the project area with the objective to maximize local employment and provide fair compensation for temporary land access.
