ANNAMITE RESOURCES' 2022 - YEAR IN REVIEW AND THE YEAR AHEAD
30 Jan 2023
Lei Dultra, Communication Officer of Annamite Resources
Annamite Resources is reporting its achievements in 2022 and looking forward to a productive year of exploration on its Sokdee Project in 2023
FIRST EXPLORATION RESULTS
Our team has collected ca. 1,000 soil samples, conducted 2,000m of diamond drilling, mapped much of the 50sq.km Hinherb tenement and completed drone magnetic and IP surveys.
CONFIRM PORPHYRY Cu-Mo-Au SYSTEM
We have identified a 6km long porphyry system comprising two mineralized centers one of which is a proved porphyry Cu-Au-Mo prospect. This major achievement has consumed ca. US$1 million in direct ground exploration activities.
ANNAMITE IN THE COMMUNITY
Annamite donated in April 2022 US$2,000 towards the repair of the bridge over the Nam Ton River between Souanmone and Namthom villages and an additional $3,000 towards the construction of two new toilets for students at the Namthom elementary school.
WHAT'S PLANNED IN 2023 FOR ANNAMITE?
To drill ca. 11,000 m of RC and DD at a cost of US$2.5 – 3M and to test the two centres which comprise at least six separate targets, and to establish an in-house resource estimate over at least one of these.
OUR TEAM IS GROWING
We started 2022 with four employees based in Vientiane, which has grown to 25 full-time employees as of the start of 2023, including six based in Vientiane. Before kickstarting 2023, Alex Pyng, our Chief Financial Officer based in Singapore and Lei Dultra our Communication Officer, recently joined the Management Team.
OUR NEW PROJECTS IN THE COMMUNITY
An estimated US$5,000 project will be initiated in January 2023 by LHBS/Annamite for the solid waste management in Namthom, Mouk, Souamone and Navai, and US$5,000 for community development.
OUR FLAGSHIP SOKDEE PROJECT
The real merits of Sokdee are that we have a project comprising an elongate porphyry system of 6 km strike length which has already yielded potential economic intersections within a regional belt hosting several world-class Cu-Au-Mo-Ag mines. The excellent location and infrastructure near Sokdee make it likely that any mining development will have a very competitive cost structure.
