Christopher, minerals financier & economist, ran business development for natural resources for the IFC (International Finance Corporation) out of London office from 2006-2010, IFC is private sector arm of the World Bank Group, and is a major private sector investor in mining in emerging markets. Earlier he led IFC mining transactions in Africa, Russia, Central Asia and and Latin America. Prior, he advised African governments in natural resource policy and, negotiations in Ghana, Tanzania, Mozambique and Swaziland. From 2010—2017 he was on the board of and latterly Non Executive Chairman of Triple Plate Junction, now Tethyan Resources, which was listed on AIM in London.

Didier Fohlen, the CEO of Annamite Resources, and Duangmala Phommavong, a Board Member, were in attendance at the business meetings held on October 23rd and 24th in Paris, France to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the diplomatic relationship between France and Laos.
We extend our gratitude to HE Mr. Manithong Vongsay, Vice Minister of Commerce and Industry, for his presence at the event. It was a valuable opportunity to engage in discussions and exchange perspectives with a delegation from the Lao National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LNCCI), led by President Mr. Oudet Souvannavong.
The morning session at MEDEF International was highly productive as we explored ways to enhance the economic ties between France and Laos. We would like to express our appreciation to Guillaume Perdon and his team from BRED Banque Populaire International Department, the main shareholder of BFL BRED Group in Laos, for graciously hosting a reception. Additionally, a special thanks to HE Mr. KhamInh Kitchadeth, the Lao PDR Ambassador in France, for his instrumental role in making this event possible.
