Christopher, minerals financier & economist, ran business development for natural resources for the IFC (International Finance Corporation) out of London office from 2006-2010, IFC is private sector arm of the World Bank Group, and is a major private sector investor in mining in emerging markets. Earlier he led IFC mining transactions in Africa, Russia, Central Asia and and Latin America. Prior, he advised African governments in natural resource policy and, negotiations in Ghana, Tanzania, Mozambique and Swaziland. From 2010—2017 he was on the board of and latterly Non Executive Chairman of Triple Plate Junction, now Tethyan Resources, which was listed on AIM in London.

Duangmala Phommavong appointed as board member of Annamite Resources, leveraging her impressive business achievements and dedication to sustainable practices.
We are delighted to announce the appointment of Duangmala Phommavong, a Laos citizen, as a new board member of Annamite Resources.
With over 25 years of remarkable career accomplishments, Duangmala has established herself as a prominent figure in various industries across Laos. Her deep understanding of the local market dynamics and entrepreneurial acumen have fueled her success as the managing director of three companies that are involved in tourism, culture, and hospitality.
Beyond her impressive business achievements, Duangmala actively contributes to the economic development of Laos through her involvement in non-profit organizations, business associations, and the promotion of foreign investments.
Since March 2018, Duangmala has been serving as the Vice-President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Vientiane Capital, as well as a Board Member of the Laos National Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Her roles have enabled her to foster strong relationships with both local and international stakeholders.
Duangmala will head up our Sustainability Committee to play a pivotal role in maintaining sustainable practices in our operations, minimizing environmental impact, and fostering positive social outcomes.
Duangmala's extensive business experience, deep understanding of the Lao business community, and leadership roles in business associations make her an invaluable addition to our team.
