UNCOVERING MINERALS POTENTIAL IN AN UNDEREXPLORED COUNTRY
-
Annamite Resources Holdings Pte. Ltd. (ARH) is a precious and base metals exploration company incorporated in Singapore in May 2019 with operations in Laos through a Lao subsidiary named Annamite Resources Laos Co., Ltd (ARL).
-
We focus our exploration on gold, copper, and battery metals as vital input for the global transition to green energy.
-
In November 2021 we acquired a 70% ownership in an exploration project of 79 sq.km under a company named Lao Hyundae Black Stone Co., Ltd (LHBS), and have discovered a highly prospective porphyry copper-gold system named Sokdee. Sokdee is located in the Hinherb District of Laos, about 100km NNW of Vientiane. The known gold occurrences offer potential for early development and cash returns.
-
The Namthom, Mouk and Mouk West targets in the Sokdee tenement are surrounded with peripheral mineralization reflecting a large system of differing mineralization styles. The entire system strikes NE-SW for >6km with two known porphyries, likely with additional blind porphyries and other peripheral occurrences along strike.
-
In July 2023 Annamite & Rio Tinto, a major mining and exploration company with the second largest market capitalization of any mining company, joined forces to explore the Sokdee Project, with Annamite carrying out the current phase of the exploration programme and Rio paying for the exploration costs under an option agreement.
-
Rio’s injection of funds allows exploration of Sokdee at a much faster pace and more comprehensively than Annamite could have done solely from private investor funds. Annamite is also now able to ramp up its exploration activities beyond the Sokdee borders.
-
After siging an MOU in August 2023 to explore a new property named Vangma covering about 150 sq.km on Sokdee’s southern border, we plan to sign a Joint Venture Agreement (JVA) in November 2023.
-
A Joint Development Agreement (JDA) with Lao Mining Development State Enterprise (LMD) was signed in March 2022 covering prospective projects in Vientiane province.
-
With US$3.5 million equity raised since mid-2019 (shares issued) and support from Rio, Annamite can advance exploration activities at Sokdee while exploring nearby tenements and potentially securing new projects.
-
The company currently has 88.5M shares outstanding held by 63 shareholders, comprising corporate and individual investors from Europe (27.7%), Laos (31.3%), other Southeast Asia countries (15.4%), Australia (11.8%) and North America (8.4%).
-
Annamite is growing its broad base of shareholders from different parts of the world, including Laos and other Asian countries. They recognize the opportunity that Laos presents and wish to participate in both value creation as well as sustainable development in-country.
-
In 2024 ARH plans to list on the major market for junior mineral exploration companies, the Australian ASX.
WHAT WE DO
Our strategy is acquiring a good quality portfolio of exploration projects that can be quickly moved to the discovery stage with drilling, i.e., the Project Developer model.
By modern exploration standards, Laos is an underexplored but highly prospective country for the precious and base metal deposit types that Annamite is targeting.

Though modern exploration methods have covered less than 6% of Laos;

The Truongson and Loei Fold Belts which are highly prospective for porphyry and related deposit types comprise 70% of the country.
