EXPLORATION- May 2026
Restart of Drilling at Sokdee mid May 2026
Annamite Resources has commenced a significant drilling programme at its Sokdee Project in central Laos, marking another important milestone in the Company’s ongoing exploration activities. Following the successful mobilisation of drilling equipment, field operations are now underway, with the programme focused on further assessing the project’s gold potential.
The campaign comprises approximately 60 drill holes for a total of around 3,600 metres of drilling. The programme has been carefully designed to advance geological understanding while maintaining a strong commitment to responsible exploration practices.
As part of this campaign, Annamite Resources is utilising a smaller drilling rig in selected areas, particularly within rubber tree plantations and locations with more sensitive access conditions. The smaller rig allows drilling to be undertaken using more compact drill pads, significantly reducing the operational footprint. This approach helps minimise disturbance to surrounding plantations, protects existing agricultural activities, and provides safer and more practical access for both exploration personnel and drilling crews.
Preparation work has progressed well, with the exploration team completing 32 drill pads ahead of mobilisation. Drilling operations are being coordinated closely with the contractor, while construction of additional drill pads will continue in parallel as the programme advances.
The current drilling campaign reflects Annamite Resources’ practical and responsible approach to mineral exploration. Beyond technical execution, the programme incorporates careful planning, ongoing consultation with landowners and local authorities, close coordination with contractors, and continual adaptation to field conditions to minimise avoidable environmental and community impacts.
By integrating responsible land management with efficient exploration practices, Annamite Resources continues to advance the Sokdee Project while supporting sustainable resource development in Laos.
The Company looks forward to sharing further updates as drilling progresses and new exploration results become available.
